Behavioral Consistency: Environmental Engagement Perspective

Behavioral consistency, a judgment heuristic to which people default ease decision making, appears be an acceptable social norm. Is this phenomenon true peoples’ behavior in the workplace and at home? Some studies suggest that human home work is not always consistent because have different persona. To provide interesting argument apparent contradiction, paper examines behavioral consistency environmental engagement tasks of 213 faculty from 9 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) Philippines. The study used Quantitative Approach employing comparative correlational analyses survey results derived duly validated instruments. Pearson Product Moment Correlation test shows respondents’ associated with their (r=.445, p< .05). Comparative analysis also reveals 85% respondents work.
